 The css BOTANY paper is comprised of a total of 100 marks. It is an Optional paper related to the Candidate's Basic knowledge of BOTANY such as Algae, Fungi and Bryophytes,  Pteridophyta and Gymnosperms, Anatomy and Embryology, Plant Physiology and ecology, etc.

To pass the css BOTANY paper a candidate is required to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks.
